Impreza WRX Club DC Jap Supersprint Championship Round 1
Supersprint / Track Day - Interclub Round 1 - GP Circuit
The Impreza WRX Club, Alfa Romeo Owners' Club and Southern Sporting Car Club (the InterClub) are proud to announce Round 1 of the 2024 Interclub Supersprint Series to be held on the Gardner Circuit at Sydney Motorsport Park.
The event will be held during the day on Sunday 24th March – entries are now open via the Impreza WRX Club event page.
On the same day, we are incorporating a Track Day or Practice Day for those who want to run on the circuit but not at the competitive level of a Supersprint. Track Day / Practice sessions will not be timed.
The Supersprint will be run as in the past, with groups of competitors with similar experience running together.
The Practice groups will run separately, between the Supersprint groups, to allow double entries for either category time to change over. Cars in the Practice group will be scrutineered for removal of any loose items and basic safety. It is anticipated that the pace of cars in the Practice groups will run at about 80% of the pace of the Supersprint groups.
Fire extinguishers are not required in the Practice groups. Helmet, and non flammable, neck to wrist to ankle clothing will be required.
